Meet Dr. Blass

Lawrence W. Blass, M.D, F.A.C.S

Born and raised in the Florida Keys, Dr. Blass understands this community better than anyone. A husband and father, Dr. Blass excels in treating each and every patient like family. He is a highly skilled board certified general surgeon whose professionalism, compassion and integrity are without parallel. Dr. Blass is excited to bring his expertise and values to Southernmost Surgery & Veins and looks forward to building last relationships with his patients and the Florida Keys Community.

Born and raised in the Florida Keys, Dr. Blass and his wife and family have called Key West their home since 2016. In his free time, Dr. Blass enjoys spending time with his family enjoying all of the outdoor activities the Florida Keys have to offer.

Meet Dr. Flanigan

Jackson Flanigan, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Flanigan is a Board Certified General Surgeon who has recently relocated to the Florida Keys from Cambridge, OH.  A highly regarded surgeon, Dr. Flanigan has over 30 years of experience in general and vascular surgery, with an emphasis on minimally invasive vascular surgery. Dr. Flanigan believes in treating a patient’s unique needs with personalized attention. He finds the real reward in his career is seeing patients return in good health. Southernmost Surgery & Veins is proud to welcome Dr. Flanigan to our practice and to the Florida Keys.

Dr. Flanigan is a Board Certified General Surgeon, specializing in General Surgery, Gastroenterology & Vascular Surgery. He has been on staff at Southeastern Medical and in Private Practice in Cambridge, OH since 1991. He has recently moved to Key West to join the team at Southernmost Surgery & Veins.

Dr. Flanigan and his wife Dr. Courtney Bonner recently relocated to Key West from Cambridge, OH. They both look forward to becoming an active part of the Florida Keys Community.

Jessica Blass

Born and raised in the Florida Keys, Jessica is keenly aware of what makes Key West such a special place. A graduate of MIT, she has held many leadership roles throughout her career. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our practice and is extremely excited to be joining the medical community

Amy Everitt

A native of Ohio and graduate of the University of Michigan, Amy has called the keys home for 25 years. A customer care specialist, with over 20 years of experience in the medical field,  she leads our team in the technological and administrative aspects of our practice.

A long time resident of the Florida Keys, Beth has been part of the Key West medical community for over 25 years. Beth is a registered nurse who is known for her expertise and kindness. Beth brings to our practice a level of care and compassion that is second to none.
